The scope of work for this project is limited to:
• Assess the robustness and reliability of the mitigation barrier associated with the existing point detector network for the detection/confirmation of a flammable and/or toxic gas release with the existing LOS detection system removed from the Safety Instrumented System (SIS);
• Study to evaluate whether the point detected currently provided is adequate. If inadequate, include a pragmatic recommendation to achieve the required barrier robustness.
• The study shall be limited to FZ-4 & FZ-9.
• The coverage of the detectors considered in the study is manufactured by M/S DECTON as indicated in section 3.2 Scope of Work document
